The soil of this vineyard was analyzed for microbial activity before any replanting. The assay revealed that a number of biomass properties were low. A soluble root dip was prepared containing specific mycorrhizal fungi, trichoderma and other natural biostimulants. The purpose of a root dip is to assure that the entire surface of the root mass is exposed to the colonizing fungi. The bare root stock was planted in late February of 2002.
